Sea buckthorn oil is a precious natural oil extracted from the fruits of the wild plant sea buckthorn. In addition to unsaturated fatty acids, sea buckthorn fruits contain over a hundred bioactive substances, including flavonoids, vitamins, phytosterols, trace elements, and α-tocopherol. The oil content in sea buckthorn fruits is approximately 1.5%, with pulp oil accounting for about 43% of the total, peel-and-pulp residue oil accounting for roughly 33%, and seed oil accounting for around 24%.
